It was great to be reunited with so many amazing and talented friends in Taipei especially Bao Dao, with whom I shot videos, counted queers, and ate dumplings.
San Francisco, CA, USA - Research Trip

I spent about two months in the Bay Area with Jose de los Reyes and Manae Ross shooting video at the Sutro Ruins and going to the Lex which will also unfortunately disappear soon.

Sao Paulo, Brazil - Research Trip

Most of my research in Sao Paulo took place at night in queer clubs with loud music and flashing lights.

Major Research Funding Awarded
January 2014
I am happy to learn that I was awarded research funding from Lasalle College of the Arts for my practice-based research entitled Queer spatial production and utopic potentiality. I will begin the travel and research for this work in June 2014.
